Welcome to My Log of Rides

December 12, 2000: My cycling season finished quite a while back now. Overall, it had been a good year, as I was able to ride famous cols such as Iseran, Agnel, Izoard, Gotthard, Nufenen, Furka, Gavia and the Mortirolo (aka Passo Foppa). I exceeded 100,000 feet cumulative elevation gain two years running. My goals for 2001 include riding in the High Pyrenees (Tourmalet, Luz-Ardiden), in Spain (Gamonal most especially), and someplace more "exotic" (Carpathia in Poland perhaps?) But for now, time to finish this 2-lb. bar of Hershey chocolate...oink oink...

...Ernie (below) had been given a make-over and I did manage to take him out once this year.
