A Winter Visit to Ben Nevis
Ben Nevis is the ice-climbing mecca in the UK. When conditions are ideal (which, unfortunately, is rare), the mountain provides a variety of challenges for climbers of every technical ability.
The pictures below were taken from just above the Allt a' Mhuillin glen, west of the Scottish Mountaineering Council's CIC hut.

The many Nevis climbs are arrayed within the buttresses and gullies of the mountain's rugged north side.
